With more than one decades of rich experience, the company is evolving every day with a strong emphasis on 100% export of its products. We source Tanzania fish from both coastal and river line districts. The most popular include Dar-es-Salaam, southern Zanzibar, Kilwa, Tanga, Lindi, and Mtwara. We only use the services of experienced fishers who do artisan fishing via hooking, baiting, and trapping methods. We do not rely on the illegal blasting methods that big-time fishing companies often use in the country’s deep sea waters.
The Nile perch is one of the significant catches of Tanzania fish from freshwater sources. It is one of the biggest and heaviest rivers and lake games as it can reach 2 meters in length and weigh 200 kilos. Most average catches are between 1.2 and 1.3 meters long. Originally from Lake Victoria and the Nile habitats, this is one of the most invasive fish species across the world.
We further prepare the gutted fresh catches for transportation in the form of fillets inside freezer bags. Each fillet bag contains identical species, but when filled in bulk we keep scales of the different kinds of fish for identification purposes. We store Tanzania fish under cool, dry conditions in dimly-lit cold rooms. We keep the cargo temporarily in our storage to ensure that it is delivered fresh.
